He’s down

Sad day. My friend the bougainvillea has been knocked down by a damn strong wind today. He was probably something like 15 years old. Months of drought have not arranged things. It was just a tree but I was happy to see his colors and his carpet of petals during my daily walks.

The sunset was nice today with a good color range. Nothing more to say. Simply natural.

Although very close in main hair color, one is a Siamese and the other … is not. They are two males and, is quite rare, live very well together.

Wild Boy

Despite what this child might suggest, he is not from a poor family at all. He just loves playing on the ground and climbing small trees and so on and his clothes always suffers.

This is a second version of the photo I have posted in late February. I like very much the action and the feeling of life that emanates from this photograph. It’s not technically perfect of course but the subject makes it a good shot. I think.
