Sharpen your pictures with LightRoom.

Effective sharpening with LightRoom is possible, as explained in this excellent tutorial. My Zuiko ED 40-150mm (80-300 in 35mm) although being a good lens in his price range is not very sharp at some apertures and a little digital boost on this point could help. The 4 sharpening settings available in LightRoom allows you a fine grain tuning in this area. It might take a little bit of practice to get used to but results are pretty impressive. Below is an example of what can be achieved.

amount = 65, radius = 0.7, detail = 58, masking = 13.StHyp_LR_sharp
